Tropical Storm Cristina formed on June 10th, to become the third tropical storm of the 2014 Pacific Hurricane Season. Less than 200 miles off the city of Zihuatanejo, the storm is likely to bring heavy rain and waves of up to 10 feet along a 500-mile stretch of coastline, according to The Weather Channel citing the The Mexican Weather Service. These swells will likely continue through today, could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. Customers are strongly encouraged to read their Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy for details regarding their available coverage. For plans that do offer coverage for adverse weather and natural disasters, please note that there is no coverage for this specific storm under any plans purchased on or after Tuesday, June 10th, 2014. Please contact CSA Travel Protection with questions.
