Your policy confirmation emails serve as your receipt and confirmation of coverage. These will include all the important details you may need on your trip including your policy number, details of your policy, and Emergency Assistance, customer service, and claims contact numbers.
Most policies come with a Free Look Period which is typically 10 or 14 days following the day you purchase the policy, or until you depart for your trip, whichever occurs first. This allows you to cancel your policy for any reason and get a refund of your premium as long as it is canceled within this time frame.
