What if I have trip payments left to make?
You can purchase travel insurance before you complete paying for a trip. Some benefits are time-sensitive based on the date of your final trip payment.
When generating a quote, we ask if you have any trip payments left to make as of that day. This is because some providers will cover Pre-Existing Conditions if the policy is purchased before making your final trip payment, or within a specified period of days of making your final trip payment. Final trip payment is defined as the last significant payment towards the trip.
Additionally, if you have additional payments you will be making towards your trip and would like to add these trip costs to your coverage, you can contact your provider directly to modify your policy up until the day before your departure.
