Short Answer
The People Like You feature pulls data from Squaremouth’s customer database to show how many travelers we have insured who are similar to the person creating a quote.
More Detail
The data includes: how many people have insured a similar trip cost, are a similar age, are traveling to the same destination and are from the same residency as the person creating the quote.
The information on the module is pulled from our customer service database, and includes all customers Squaremouth has insured since 2006.
If there are multiple travelers on one quote, we show the sum of the number of customers Squaremouth has insured in each age range. If there are multiple travelers within one age range, we only count that age range once.
