Which products offer medical evacuation to a hospital of my choice?

Short Answer

Medjet Assist and Air Ambulance Card offer evacuation only products that will evacuate you to a hospital of your choice, but only if you are already hospitalized. Standard travel insurance policies do not offer medical evacuation to your hospital of choice.

Products from Medjet Assist and Air Ambulance Card allow you to choose what hospital you will be evacuated to. However, the evacuation from the point of injury to a hospital is not covered as these products only cover transportation from one hospital to another. Additionally, you must first be hospitalized as an inpatient to qualify for an evacuation. Please also note, these are evacuation only products, they do not offer any other coverage.
