In order for this benefit to provide coverage, the incident must be deemed as an act of terrorism by the US Department of State and must meet the policy’s specified requirements. Typical requirements include:

– The incident must occur within a specified time period of your arrival, usually 30 days
– There have been no recent terrorist incidents in the same city within a specified period of time
