Answered questions I had before purchase
Continued request. I for has been uploaded several times. When contacting by phone the staff is rude and actually unable to help with request for the claim. Again message taken and will need a call back. It doesn’t seem worth to buy insurance.
Our travel plans were delayed by 4 hours. Never thought part of my trip would be on vacation in the airport. If I had known this policy would not pay off for delays I never would have purchased a 785$ policy
Never again
Once the medical information was accepted the service was top notch in assisting my wife in getting transfers made. The glitch was in looking at the hospitalist initial report rather than the treating specialist. Bed to bed service was excellent even though airplane had a malfunction. We are assembling information to submit.
Please feel free to contact me in a few weeks to see how the claims process went.
I bought the insurance for a trip which was delayed by 2 days because airport was shut down. I was unable to use the Airbnb I paid for and I missed 2 days of my trip. Having purchased the trip delay portion of insurance I thought I would be compensated. I thought showing proof the airport was shut down and I couldn’t get out plus showing my receipt for Airbnb and airline would be enough for the minimum compensation they allow. But no they are not accepting this easily and I may not get compensation at all which makes the trip delay rider on this policy worthless. I would
Hate to see what kind of proof I would need to show if I actually had something serious happen.
Very helpful phone help when we thought care might be needed. The online list of providers was a little difficult to use as we were not sure what time zones the providers' were in. For example, some were available at 4 am- was that our time zone, theirs, or some other reference time zone (hence, 4 stars). The followup from the phone nurse was good- using texts, phone and email.
Easy to buy with. Policy was very comprehensive. Would use again
We purchased the insurance through our agent. I was super easy and very reasonable. Glad we did not actually need to use it :)
