We were unable to use policy due to pre-departure health emergency. Polite agent at Travel Insured International told us that premium would not be refunded because 32 days had elapsed since purchase of policy. Instead she issued a credit for amount of premium and said that we could apply this to purchase of another travel insurance policy in future.
The process of submitting documentation for my claim was straightforward. Communication was okay, although it took a little longer than usual to resolve and pay the claim. All together I am very satisfied with the service.

Travel Insured International was very accommodating about adding my newborn infant (born after purchasing the policy and planning the trip) to my policy. While I did not need to file a claim on this trip, I am confident, both from their support this time and from previous experience with them, that I would not have had a problem.
