Got an email after my initial phone call te First Notice with a list of information I will need to provide for my claim. I have looked numerous places online for a copy of the Trip Interruption Claim Form but have been unable to locate. I am gathering invoices and will contact a Claims Rep for more information. Thank you for the inquiry.
I have had no negative interactions with them. I have filed a claim because my son-in-law discovered he has cancer through a recent surgery so my daughter and I could not leave hi and the children. I sent the claim this week. I tried to carefully follow all their directions but I thought it was unfortunate that if I made a small mistake I would start the clock for reimbursement at 15 weeks again. It is so easy for a company to take your money, but so hard to get something back.
The international travel insurer was fantastic. They checked in with me every day after the injury, and they made sure everything was taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for more.
While I am new at purchasing travel insurance, it was fairly smooth to do.
Once a flight was delayed causing a missed connection and also lost/misplaced luggage, I called Travel Insured and received a claim form to start processing. The lady I spoke gave me much information for me to have to process, but I have begun gathering receipts, statements, etc. I am working with American Airlines to get verification of why the 1st flight was delayed & for how long. I DID receive the delayed time frame, but not the reason.
Easy to get for the time period needed. We did not need it but reaassured having it.
Felt well protected!
Need to make buying coverage easier when trip plans are evolving. I had one significant payment for the first week of a trip but knew I would be extending the trip by several weeks/day. I didnt have flights or reservations. I made a guess and added time to-the original policy. I was able to add $$, but Not change the dates. It was complicated…and thank goodness, i did NOT have to make a claim.
I’m satisfied that my claim was processed within a reasonable timeframe. However when I inquired as to the status of my claim I received what I thought was a rather terse response. I was informed “they had up to 15 days to process the additional information I supplied at their request and the time wasn’t up yet”. When I originally spoke to them the lady I spoke with was so nice, I thought maybe this won’t be so bad. I did receive the full compensation I was looking for so that was a good thing. I just think they could have been nicer about it when I followed up. It would have been more convenient to be able to email or fax instead of having to mailing information to them.
I am pleased so far. Prompt responses received.
Great experience every time
Have used Squaremouth for many trips.
