Easy to buy travel insurance with Squaremouth. I had a question when I purchased, and was easily able to have the question answered.
I had several questions as I was shopping for a policy. Squaremouth's customer reps were very knowledgeable to help narrow the selection. Wait times to speak with a rep were short. This is about the 4rth time i have purchased through Squaremouth and will definitely do so again.
This was a very simple and straightforward case of a legitimate medical problem causing me to have to cancel my trip/airline tickets. I did not have additional expenses because I had not paid the tour guide yet. I filled out the application and sent in all the proof of cancelled ticket but I still have not received a refund. Travel Insured contacted me after several weeks asking for "proof" of cancellation which I had already sent but they wanted something else from the airline saying "no refund". I sent it again. Of note: the airline/DELTA automatically credited my account with miles that I will not be able to use and I am afraid that the insurance company is going to use that as an excuse not to reimburse me for the tickets even though that was not something I ever read about unless it was in the fine print somewhere. They have not gotten back to me yet so we shall see if my fears that all insurance companies are completely unethical and that insurance policies are really just an elaborate scam. As I said, the verdict is still out.
Developed a full body rash, fever, chills and congestion while on the Regent Seven seas Splendor and had no option but to use Ship Medical Center

The insurance company I chose seemed to have everything I was looking for. I contacted the company to better understand the policy and spoke with someone who explained everything to me. I had no travel issues so didn’t need to contact the company again.
