While on my trip my cell phone got stolen. I called the insurance carrier and the only thing they said was fill out a claim. Not overly sympathetic or reassuring.
As always, signing up for insurance is much easier than filing a claim even when there's a serious illness and death
Our bags were delayed 8 hours. My husband paid for a return taxi ride to the airport to get our bags. I filed a claim for the taxi fare of 80 euros. Each of our four family members who were insured could have spent a few hundred euros to buy clothing and shoes but we decided to return to the airport hoping the bags were on the last flight of the day. I filed a claim but there is no place on the form for taxi expense
I’ll never use your company again. When I purchased insurance the trip and flights were refundable. Later I changed the details of the trip and called in to report the change. The customer service agent told me there was nothing I needed to do. I didn’t think to update the value of the trip. My mother got seriously ill the day before the trip and could not travel. I’m now out $6,600 because apparently I had NO trip cancellation because the value of the trip should have been updated when I called in to change it. I’m beyond upset about this and will not use your company again.
