I'm in the process of gathering documents for my claim. I'vd had limited interaction, to date. But so far, so good. I'll let you know how it goes.
Currently, I'm in the process of filing a claim. When I contacted the phone number provided, I was treated kindly and the forms I need to fill out were provided on line. I did notice one error on the form that I will have corrected when I submit the forms after I gather the information requested.
When we had a date change for our trip it was handled very smoothly.
I had questions as to whether the insurance covered us in Ireland. The 24 hr. help could not answer the question, and the office was not open. when I did try to contact the office, I could not get through on the phone number I had.
In spite of it all, the rental car agent gave us quite a fight to purchase his insurance, all went well, there were no issues with the car, so it was all good.
I can't help but wonder what would have happened, had there been an accident....
The agent who sold me the product was COLD and efficient. She was not forhcoming with help and suggestions but merely insisted that the product I evebtually bought was the right one.
Appreciated having the insurance.............we DID have to cancel our trip.........but I guess not for any reason you found that we could claim
Had a pet emergency and had to euthanize our 9 year old lab..........so we missed our flights...........too expensive to rebook. I did ask for a claim form but was told it was not covered.
I could have "fudged" the form..........but not that kind of person.
I should have read the fine print better I guess............She was family to us --- but not to you.

S week before the trip was due to start, I was forced to cancel for medical reasons, a severe orthopedic condition effecting my left leg and left shoulder. We filed our claim immediately (7/24/19), but haven’t heard from our insurance company. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
