We were delayed on our return flight from Hawaii for 23 hours and 59 minutes. We had to book a room and incurred some food costs due to this delay. I submitted all the flight information, copy of boarding passes, a form showing the delay of the flight, expense receipts, etc. They requested everything except our blood types. Arch insurance made it as difficult as possible to recover our incurred costs. They came back 3-4 times repeatedly asking for the same information that was submitted plus more questions. Their attempt to have customers receive an explanation from the airlines to verify the flight delay and reasons is a ridiculous request since this information is available from other sources. They know that most airlines will not respond to these request from customers. This is a delaying tactic. Arch paid the expenses only after running through their delay tactic as long as possible to discourage us from pursuing what was due.
I am waiting to see how much I get reimbursed from the airline and/or justfly.com. I intend to file a claim for the additional expenses incurred. I will rate again after everything is settled.

This company was very professional, helpful and immediate in their response. Got to talk with a real person and they followed up and informed me about my options. Luckily I didn’t have to interrupt my travel.
I was able to buy a very comprehensive policy for International travel at a reasonable cost. I am not an experienced International traveler and the policy covered everything recommended by the State Dept (many items that would never have occurred to me).
Had very little contact prior to the trip...all went well...no problems..glad that I didn't need to contact them.
The website was very confusing since there are so many options and details. I called for some clarification and the customer service person walked me through all the options, various companies, while questioning my specific needs, etc. It was extremely helpful and I believe as a result I saved some money. I did not need the insurance.
They asked for so much proof I gave up and decided to travel anyway and take my chances with risk. Destination El Salvador. They asked for a travel agent letter to prove the trip was cancelled. What travel agent? We made our arrangements online on our own. I felt like they were making it complicated to avoid paying. When I checked on line sure enough lots of disappointed customers.
