We had no problems and so no reason to file a claim.
My husband hurt his back right before we were due to leave on a 3 week trip to Europe the first part of our trip was a walking hiking holiday the dr advised him he could not travel when scheduled and to cancel His walking holiday but after some treatment he was able to join me a week
Later I called to find out what to do When this happened as I thought I’d have to buy him another separate insurance but they advised me if he was just postponing his departure we could keep it and file a claim later for trip interruption which I did . I just submitted yesterday 20 pages to support the claim
So by all
Means call me in 4 weeks and I’ll tell you the status of my claim!
Thanks for your follow up

I submitted all the paperwork and called to make sure they had received . I was advised they had and an analyst would be appointed to my case and I would get an update after 10 days I heard nothing so called and was advised they were backed up yet and had not been looked at yet so I was a little upset although I was impressed with the 10 day timeframe . but the person I spoke to said he would mark my submission a priority and I’d get update in 48. Hrs 3 days later the reviewer called me and said my claim was reviewed and would be paid 2 days later the money was in my bank
That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars as if I hadn’t called I feel like things would have not moved forward as fast as they did
So overall I was very impressed with the handling of my claim also impressed that squaremouth offered to intercede if I felt my claim was not being handled appropriately an added bonus chiding squaremouth

I have nor been able to understand where the claim is in the process. I have been requested to submit additional documentation, which I have done.
But, I do not know if it was received and was acceptable. Please let me know if you have received all that you require from me, doctors, or others.
I would be willing to make changes to my evaluation, pending some notice on the status. Thank you.
I am very disappointed in the claim process. I had to go to the hospital after I fell on the trip. The 24 hour number on the Square Mouth paper I took with me was useless. The agent at the other end would not approve anything. She told me to pay out of pocket and then file a claim.
When I returned, I called to file a claim. I was told I first needed to file a claim with Medicare. I was in Israel. Everyone knows that Medicare does not cover medical bills out of the country. IT IS A FACT - MEDICARE DOES NOT COVER MEDICAL EXPENSES OUT OF THE COUNTRY.
This is a useless, unnecessary step getting in the way of my getting reimbursed for a legitimate medical expenses I incurred during the trip I insured through Square Mouth.
I am filing a claim with Medicare and will wait for the denial before filing my claim. After talking to the claims agent, I doubt if they will reimburse me anyway because the papers I received after I received care from the hospital in Israel do not conform to what the claims people are asking.
I have obtained Medical Evacuation and Medical Expense insurance before from Square Mouth. I will never do so again. There is no point in doing so if they make getting reimbursed for a hospital expense and transportation to get to the hospital difficult. Fortunately, my out of pocket expenses were only $500, but what if they had been more?
When I changed the home return date and spoke with customer service, they were very kind and helpful. We didn't make a claim, but it was outlined very well, if we did make a claim. Thanks for being available! I found the cost of this insurance very affordable and what we chose to cover was exactly what we may have needed. It wasn't generic. It was specific and our responsibility was specific to calling them and saving any receipts and getting documentation to prove the incident.
I took out unemployment insurance for my trip. My employer fired me while I was on my trip, but I was told I was not covered because I did not learn of it until I returned. I do not believe this is what the policy states.
My wife fell in Berlin and broke her arm. She had to have emergency surgery to repair the break and spent 6 days in a Berlin hospital. I contacted Travel Insured International and they worked with the hospital to cover the costs. I haven't received any bills yet so I don't know what the costs will be. But so far, so good.
I had to cancel two weeks of my trip and we were flown home a different route. I'm filing claims for unused airfare and related expenses.
Very friendly, yet professional when our trip’s departure date was delayed by our cruise line. Representative of Travel Insured International answered all of my questions and reassured me that there would be no changes in our insurance.
Great company! I will definitely use them again.
