This was all done on-line, so there was absolutely NO customer service or interaction with any "live" person. I don't mind this, but find it ridiculous that you would want to know about "customer service."

I was stranded in London on my home due to the volcano ash. What was supposed to be a 2 hour layover turned into 7 days and I arrived there sick and totally unprepared and without resources. The Travelex rep was nice but of no help. He didn't think I would be covered as the volcano was an act of God.

Since there was no contact with my insurance carrier, they were fine. The airline,Alitalia, however was awful, going over we should have been contacted earlier about the delays since they knew about them. All systems were go on all our screens ( which were false). We missed our connecting flight to Florence, had to take a bus to that airport and almost had to delay our scheduled classes arriving at 2::00 a.m.. We did however miss a scheduled dinnerTuesday evening that we had pre-paid for at a Michelen Star restaurant in Tredozio.
Ouur trip over was a disaster.
