  • WorldTrips policy: Atlas Journey Preferred

    Our luggage was delayed and we didn't receive 2 out of the 3 bags during the trip. We came home to our bags, which we never saw. All of our outbound flights were delayed by 3 hours as well. We reached out inquiring about the process and timing for filing a claim and all we received back were emails stating that they're backed up and not able to respond / answer our simple questions.

    From when I sent in my claim details, it took the company almost an entire TWO MONTHS to get back with me by email asking for more information.

    They were very pleasant but ultimately unhelpful when we missed our connection and needed to rebook.

    Hi my suitcase was damaged I got it bk I had to travel back to derby from Doncaster I had a lot of headache with dragging the suitcase so I want to make a claim for my suitcase and compensate me to with all the headache

    3 stars because I tried to call them one day and couldn't get through to them at all. Was put on hold and after 30 mins just disconnected. Tried various times with no luck. Was calling to ask why I had received no policy documents from them. I was worried about my insurance coverage after that experience.
    I tried again a few days later and did get through. The person was helpful and she looked up my policy and emailed me the documents. So I felt reassured after that.

    I did the claim online, the online claim does not appear in my profile so cannot follow the status. Almost 2 month later I received a mail with the claim reply and a check. Not a simple description of what they are reimbursing and why. Not sure if this is the only mail I will receive.
