Major Increase Expected in U.S. Response

According to President Obama’s plan of action to address the deadly outbreak, the United States will send military troops, additional health care workers, community care kits, and medical care kits to help provide relief for the Ebola virus.

Additional field hospitals are also on the horizon for the upcoming plans to contain the outbreak as current treatment facilities are entirely filled.

The U.S. will lead an emergency meeting with the United Nations Security Council next week to continue to address the ever growing issue of Ebola.
