On November 13, 2015, terrorist attacks in Paris killed at least 130 people. On November 23, the U.S. State Department issued a Worldwide Travel Alert.

Travel insurance position statements and FAQs included in this Information Center are subject to change at any time.

As of November 13, 2015, travel insurance is no longer available with coverage for the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

Travelers with an upcoming trip planned to Paris may be covered to cancel their trip if they meet their policy's requirements for Terrorism coverage.

The Worldwide Travel Alert is not a covered reason to cancel your trip unless you have Cancel For Any Reason coverage. The alert does not affect the availability of coverage for future events.
