2016 Hurricane Season
Hurricane season is upon us and it may affect travel, with multiple flight cancellations, delays, and an uninhabitable destination to name a few. Some airlines may alert travelers they will waive change/cancel fees and fare differences for customers impacted by a hurricane. Other airlines are advising travelers to check the flight status before leaving for the airport.
Travelex protection plans must have been purchased prior to the date when an event becomes foreseeable. Customers who purchased their plan prior to a storm may be eligible for coverage. Please refer to the appropriate Description of Coverage for information regarding plan coverage, travel assistance services and instructions on how to file a claim.
