My claim was never handled, the insurance company sent request for additional information that I did not have nor access to. This is their way to justify not paying. Typical Insurance company way to cheat people. Insurance companies are the biggest scammers in the US.
I contacted GoReady insurance three times before my trip. Two of the three representative said they would get back to me (ie: phone call), no one did. I was also told by a third representative to send an email to GoReady insurance about my claim, of which I still have not received a reply. My family was unable to travel due to Covid. The airlines have also been very difficult to work with. I’m hoping to have resolution to this situation. It was disappointing enough to have to cancel our trip, but adds insult to injury that I’ve been unable to receive any financial compensation.

I purchase travel insurance thru Square Mouth. Unfortunately, we were unable to travel because my husband had a stroke. I have filed a claim but am not getting any answers to my multiple phone calls. I know that my claim was received because Tanya Jacques told me so in our initial conversation. Since then ( in January), we have called 8 times and no one returns our call.
This is terrible customer service. I am not only disappointed in your lack of customer care but you are adding additional stress to an already stressful situation because I am dealing with my sick husband.
I would like this claim to be settled fairly.

Hi,
We had to cancel the trip due to Covid.
We have mailed the insurance everything the same day we have canceled the trip but never heard back.
After a lot of efforts we were abole to open a Claim (Claim Number 3968488).
Now we are waiting for them...
The insured’s claim was processed within several days of them emailing us. Our claims department is not open on the weekends which accounted for the delay they seemed to be unhappy with.

I originally wanted the policy for Covid coverage. When reading the details of the policy, I realized there was an accidental death benefit. There was no place to name the beneficiary of this benefit. I emailed customer service and they were able to put in writing who I wanted to name as beneficiaries should something unfortunate happen. I would suggest adding a form so people can fill this out when purchasing the policy.
No feedback at all for my claim. I will not be using this company again and let everyone know about how terrible the customer service was
