GoReady has been slow to respond, due to increased claims. I am a little frustrated that we have been trying to file for over 3 weeks now, and have not seen any action to resolve it.
This claim was approved & paid shortly after this review was posted. And yes, he opened his case in early January during a record-high period for claims.
Trip was canceled by the cruise line due too to much covid on previous cruise. Cruise line would not refund, but offered to book for next year.
Insurance would not cover the cancellation saying I didn’t pay for cancellation for any reason. I paid for cancellation for Covid, cruise line canceled for Covid. Insurance said read page 12, it was for any reason. Refused to cover, but allowed to extend coverage to next year, as we had to Extend trip to next year as could not get refund or insurance to cover.
We are sorry that Raymond was disappointed with his options in this unfortunate situation. Despite the policy being non-refundable since November ’21, we would have hoped he would’ve appreciated the exception our underwriter was offering that allowed him to reuse the full value of the policy for a future trip anywhere in the world.
I filed a claim and have not had a return email or call.
Go ready got my claim and I have heard nothing from them. I called last week. They told me I would hear by this past Friday. I have heard nothing

I bought my travel GOready insurance through Squaremouth. This was during the Omicron surge. My original travel partner decided not to travel due to COVID. I called customer service to discuss my options. I was actually able to talk to a real person on my first call and she was so helpful. She helped me cancel my policy and explained how rebook with my new travel companion. I then had to call back to check on the refund. Again I was able to speak to a person who was very helpful. So nice to work with a company who provides person to person customer service..Fortunately I did not need to use the insurance but it was well worth the small price I paid.
Easy process. Peace of mind knowing we were covered in case of Covid
I am trying to make a claim on a hotel room & some purchased food. I was never able to use my hotel reservation because my flight was canceled out of Denver and I missed my connection in Mexico City. I think it is unfortunate that the flight cancellation has to be specifically due to weather or mechanical. You had stated that the travel insurance was updated to help with Covid problems. My flight was canceled due to "adjustments in our operations". You did not update your flight cancelation acceptance to help with Covid problems. This was not specifically stated in the insurance. I am disappointed by this fact.
I needed communication during the claims process. Despite many voicemails left and emails sent to my claim handler, and their supervisor, I never received any return messages or calls. This was VERY frustrating as the process took weeks longer than I was expecting.
Hoping the claim process goes smoother than some reviews.
I sent an inquiry back on 01/24/22 & 01/29/22 via online with your website and various emails listed below to submit a claim for missed tour events and rebooked flights for my Egypt-Dubai 2021-2022 trip and have not received a reply back. Your claims process is not good.
