    I originally overestimated our out of pocket expense and realizing it, they reissued the policy at the new price and refunded the difference with no questions asked. It was much appreciated

    I had a small claim for an injury while in Maui. The claim process was straight forward and I submitted it.

    For some reason after uploading my claim, I never received an acknowledgement for the submission. I waited patiently for about a month before contacting April insurance again by emailing them my concern. Still after waiting an additional 3 weeks for a reply, I contacted Squaremouth and spoke to their customer service rep (Nancy) who contacted April Travel Protection on my behalf.

    Within one week I was contacted by phone by April (the insurance company) and they apologized and said I would receive two checks within a couple of weeks. One check for the full amount of the claim and one check for interest for the delay (didn't expect that).

    Overall I have to credit Squaremouth and April for stepping up and addressing the problem and leaving me with a positive feeling about their professionalism and I would use them again. 4 out of 5 stars due to the initial oversight.

    My trip to the Amazon was postponed by the tour organizer for one year after this year departure. My beef was with Vantage Travel is that they postponed the trip about 2 weeks before departure. We discovered the postponement on their website. Vantage did not reach out to us by phone. email or letter notifying us of the postponement. Vantage refuses to declare the trip cancelled. April Travel Protection was willing to extend the coverage to the new 2022 date and I have been happy so far. To answer your question whether I will file a claim: hope not.

    Aegis policy: Go Ready Pandemic Plus

    My traveling companion, also on the policy, Hlen Martin, suffered an injury to his leg. We were on a sailboat with no access to medical facilities. We arrived home at 9 30 pm , Monday , Nov 29. He went to the emergency room early the next morning because his leg was infected and swollen. April denied the claim immediately saying that the policy only covers medical expenses incurred while travelling. The summary of benefits stated that illnesses and injuries occurring on the trip are covered risks. There was not a statement that treatment had to happen during the travel period. We plan to file a complaint with the North Carolina Insurance Commission.

    It was so easy to acquire a policy for my trip and the policy price was very reasonable and included a Covid protection plan which thank goodness I did need to use. Have an upcoming trip in a few weeks and will be purchasing a policy for it and have recommended your company to my traveling companion. Am quite happy with your service.

    GOREADY is DISGUSTING!! DISGUSTING GOREADY has been stonewalling since 9/14/21 and today is already 2/5/2022.DISGUSTING GOR EADY has ignored every email and phone message (they don't pick up phones...you must leave a message). DISGUSTING GOREADY closed my claim because they said they never heard from anyone in 90 days. They have sent emails that they need the same documents over and over again. They keep reassigning the case to other people. They are insisting that the deceased sign the claim form. Really?Really? If that's not giving you the finger what is? Even with the death certificate, the power of attorny signature, a letter from the doctor and the nursing home DISGUSTING GOREADY refused to move the claim forward UNLESS THE DECEASED SIGNS THE FORM. GOREADY is Disgustig beyond belief ! Disgusting!! Disgusting!!
