Customer Service was very helpful in making sure you understand the policy and what is covered. Given the COVID risk, I was quite apprehensive in traveling and making sure I had the right documentation in case I had to make a claim. Customer Service eased all my fears related to the policy.
When I contacted April after our flight was delayed, they responded immediately and were very helpful. In the end we did not need their help to rebook flights or find a hotel, but it was very reassuring to know that they offered to do those things for us.
Our trip was cancelled by the cruise line. When I contacted the insurance company they would only refund a small portion of the premium paid for the policy, even though they never had any liability to pay anything. I purchased the policy within days for putting down the deposit for the cruise and the cruise line refunded the deposit in full, therefore the trip insurance never had any liability and I should have received a full refund. At this time we have a cruise booked for Sept. 2022 and I do not plan on getting insurance from square mouth or any insurance company affiliated square mouth. The person I spoke to sounded like they were doing me a favor by refunding anything at all.
I wrote a letter to request a claim form as was outlined in the policy. No one ever responded to my request so I was not able to submit a claim. I won’t be using this insurance for future travel. I just booked new travel insurance this week for a trip next year and purchased elsewhere.

Our first flight was delayed which caused us to miss our connecting flight and American Airlines could not get us on a new flight for 24 hours. We had to get 2 hotel rooms and buy clothes and food.Our luggage was ticketed and drop off at STT airport around noon on October 8 . Our luggage was sent through from Miami to Chicago On October 8th even though we missed our connecting flight so we did not have luggage from noon on October 8th until 10.30pm on October 9th. Your representative send that our luggage would not be covered which is very upsetting.
I had to call customer service to inquire about a beneficiary being named on my travel policy. He was very professional and knowledgeable and added my beneficiary that I requested.
The person I talked to was very helpful. I recommend Squaremouth to my friends. My husband, who is deceased, used this company as do I.
