I submitted a claim about a month ago, never heard from the company.
Been trying to file a claim for damaged luggage. Getting the runaround and making the claims process much more cumbersome than need be. I.e., i must call the airline, etc. before I could file a claim, must have receipts for purchase.
I received clear responses when I called customer service and felt confident I would know what steps to take in the event I needed assistance.
The policies are hard to understand what is truly covered. A question to April Travel was answered quickly. I didn't need to make a claim, so I cannot comment on how that process would go.

Unfortunately I have not received any feedback or guidance on this claim I have submitted. There has been no follow up or follow through regarding information from April. It’s been a disappointing experience.

Please do not use this insurance company under any circumstances. There are so many other options to use. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone who works there or get any response via email or phone. We have tried the claims adjuster, customer service, and the claim adjusters supervisor and no one will respond. It has been more than 3 weeks without a response and the claim has been open for months.
I have taken the april travel protection for my travel, and the trip has been cancelled due to work related reason, i had to work over the long weekend for a production support. I reached out to April, their phone never gets connected, i sent couple of emails to service@april-usa.com, no response from them. Its frustrating, and it would be really helpful if sqauremoth helps me in this case.
