I have been trying to submit a claim. Called 4 times. Waiting time is about 60 min. NO ONE sent me the papers yet and I have been waiting.
I will never use them again. Not sure how Swueemouth uses them.
I found it easy to purchase insurance but difficult to reach a person with a concern. My flight was cancelled after hours on the eve of our trip. I called the emergency hotline and reported it to a representative, but nothing was ever resolved.

We had to cancel our trip because my husband fell and is still in a nursing home. I called April Travel Protection (ATP) and was told to submit. my claim. I submitted my claim on July 19, 2021. I never received an acknowledgement and called again. I was told that it wa sent to the processing department. I have not heard from them since. Here is the text of my request( the request has 23 attachments):

April provided the coverage necessary for traveling to Costa Rica. Covid requirements change frequently, and they helped us navigate the process. We fortunately did not need to use the coverage, but it was reassuring to know we had it.
Since our trip was postponed a year due to COVID-19, April permitted us to re-date our policy to the future trip. No hassle.
I enquired about submitting a claim with an agent named Joanna. She was short, rude and impolite. I've never submitted a claim before and she acted like my questions were stupid and I should have known the answers to them. I followed her instructions and submitted a claim a week ago, but I still have not heard back. I've always bought April Travel Protection for my trips, but this is my first time actually filing a claim. I am looking to see how this will pan out before I continue using them on the future trips.
I contacted them to find out how to file a claim.
They provided me some info over the phone (no claim form) as to what to provide them.
I provided them the information.
They repied back that they needed even more information. (Again no claim form)
I provided them the additional information.
They replied back to provide them the sam information on a claim form.
I have now supplied them the same exact information 3 times.
NOW I am waiting to find out about my claim.
This is crazy.
