April agent didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. Finally mentioned square mouth and he unenthusiasticly helped me.
Very easy to get a policy that worked for me and really the best rate for our trip.
There was no option to file a claim online on the April website. I had to contact customer service twice so they would provide information on how to file my claim (baggage delay).
And then I had to provide the same information multiple times to different agents. Which was a frustrating and time consuming experience for a $196 claim. In the end I received a check but I would not recommend this insurance because of the hassle.

My fiancé tested positive for covid at the airport trying to come home. It took about half of a day to get in contact with someone to figure out our next steps. Once we got in contact though, we started to communicate via email and we had much better luck. They were reassuring everything would be ok. I would recommend you buy travel insurance for 10 days after your trip as well. So make sure you’re 100% covered in the case of covid.

I was in contact with a few agents regarding my claim for June. It has been over a month since I have heard back. Not only have I not been reimbursed for my claim, but my credit card has now been gaining interest on the total amount. I am very unhappy with the terrible customer service, the lack of communication and how long this process has dragged out. We have over $2,400 waiting to receive back. We cannot financially afford for this to continue to carry on. I am very disappointed and I hope you can make this right.
Had to call Customer service three times on three separate days to get them to send me the COVID-19 coverage letter. When you buy the insurance the letter should come automatically after you pay. No waiting. No delay. Issue the letter. It is required by the host country

April was great. Whe. I was leaving at the airport I called and a Nice person answered and sent me the travel documents I needed for Costa Rica. Unfortunately there was a typo. 250 vs 250000
I called back and they fixed it right away. I am happy with their responsiveness
