    So glad to have had the insurance protection we purchased for our trip. Gave us piece of mind throughout our travels. I would use April Travel Protection again without hesitation and have already and will continue to recommend their services. I’ll be using them again for our upcoming travels abroad and wherever we go.

    Our flight was cancelled and April refused to even talk to us as long as the carrier was still in the picture. The airline did take care of us but it is nerve wracking to expirence a cancelled flight and not get any encouragement from the insurance people.
    As we missed our xfer from the final airport to the hotel, we were told to take a taxi and submit the receipt. This we did.
    After 3 weeks with no response we called them and was told they had 1 month to respond. At exactly one month our claim was xfered to another agency who then took 2 more weeks of requests for more paperwork to justify our $40 taxi ride.
    After 1 more week was told our claim was approved 'pending approval' after 1 more week, still nothing.
    Don't know how much of that is april or their approval company, but not happy with the process

    I had NO problems with April. My problems were that my claim was processed thru several other entities and they seemed to require redundant paperwork and took a long time to settle an easy claim

    I asked to move the start date of the policy up one day. The rep. said fine, but the cgange was never made.

    The only problem way before I left was that I changed the amount of the policy and I extended the dates. The amount of the policy was changed but the date extension was not completed. I needed to follow up with a couple of emails or phone calls and it was taken care of.

    During our trip we required the services of a physician at our hotel. Once we returned home, I called your number and inquired as to how to file a claim. Your representative was helpful, emailed me the required forms and I submitted the materials. I was impressed by the speed and quality of the response. I now await resolution of the claim.

    Had to cancel cruise due to a family death. Vert easy and fast process to get refund approved and paid. Highly recommend!

    The initial help with our claim was very good but it is now over two months since we filed our claim and we have not received our refund or had any request for more information. I have sent an email requesting information on the delay.

The customer did apologize for overestimating the amount of time that had passed & has told us that they are pleased with our service at APRIL.     Airline lost luggage traveling inside India. When we contacted April they were marginally helpful advising that person on phone could not give definitive answers. I found the experience less than satisfying. I will be filing a claim and am hopeful that April will be responsive. Please note we now live with n Florida

    We thank David for choosing APRIL Travel Protection and are saddened to hear that his assistance experience did not meet his expectations. After looking into this case, our notes indicate that David was unhappy with the $200 limit on their policy’s Baggage Delay benefit. He noted that his wife incurred more expenses than $200 during the 3 days it took for the airline to retrieve their baggage.

    We were contacted by David on the front end of their trip immediately after the baggage delay had happened at which point we advised him of the $200 limit. Additionally, this benefit limit information is disclosed during the purchase path and in the fulfillment documents sent immediately after purchasing the travel plan.
