Our trip was canceled due to an medical emergency. I made a claim and provided all the pertinent medical info, and was told my claim would not be reviewed for forty five days. When purchasing my policy payment was made that same day. I find forty five days to be unacceptable.
I e mailed you requesting refund on a canceled flight from Wenatchee to Seattle on Dec.29th 2017. Have not heard back.

Waste of money. I bought insurance, called confirm it was he correct insurance. Then when I went to use it, was told that I didn’t purchase the correct insurance. This company made me waste $700. I will NEVER use this company again. I plan on submitting a BBB claim and telling my friends to NEVER use!!!
My experience with purchasing April Insurance online was simple and reasonably fast. They provided a lot of information, everything I needed without contacting them directly. I instantly downloaded the details of the policy I wanted, which had AD&D 24/7 insurance that was difficult to find elsewhere. That was important to me since I am a family caretaker and rarely travel.
I did file a claim for a trip delay, my connection flight was delayed due to a problem with de-icing equipment. The weather was bad, but other flights were leaving so when we had to wait nearly 7 hours to learn we were canceled it was almost 2am. In an unfamiliar city and having to wait 12 hours for a rescheduled flight, I needed help. I contacted April customer care for concierge assistance. The customer service rep contacted a local hotel, he had to call several to connect with an available service to find a name and number for me to book a room. I was so relieved to have a place to sleep and not have to stay at the airport any longer.
I have already recommended April to a friend, and will certainly share my good experience with others. Thanks for all the assistance I needed during a stressful time.

We thought that State Department changes that may have caused carriers to discontinue flying to our destination would have been covered under our insurance, only to find out that it was not. We learned that to have this type of coverage, you need to purchase "cancel for any reason." This doesn't seem reasonable as the changes would have been to no fault of our own.
Fortunately the US government didn't enact additional restrictions to Cuba and we did not have to cancel our trip.
Now we know.
I submitted my claim through April travel protection (Susan Mendez) and received a confirmation of claim submission on October 3rd. 45 BUSINESS days later, I contacted Susan to follow up only to be told she wasn't sure why it hadn't been finalized but would check on it and call me back. 2 more days later after NO response, I attempted to call back. Put on hold for 30 minutes, nothing! Finally called seven corners directly only to find out my claim was never submitted to them and they JUST received it 2 days earlier, on the 45th day, after I called to check on it! Still waiting on that return call from Susan! Will NEVER do business with ATP again!

April travel protection was absolutely horrible and useless! My claim has been closed and paid in FULL through seven corners but with absolutely NO help from April! I have YET to hear anything from them even after being contacted by upper management after my initial poor review. They are horrible and they KNOW it! Seven corners, however have been awesome and I'm thankful for their service!
The simple claim I had has still not been paid after 9 weeks. Appalling service, I would give Zero Stars if I could
