Called morning after our flight was cancelled to check coverage for a claim. They said they would email a claim form. I never got it.

I called to get clarification on filing a claim. It took 3 business days for the call to be returned. This is poor customer service. I was then sent the wrong form for submitting my claim.
We thank Robert for purchasing April Travel Protection’s Choice plan and taking his time to post a review. We would like to respond to his concerns regarding response time and claim forms. Robert left a voicemail on a Friday, late in the day. Contact was made the following Monday (1 business day later). During the claim qualification phone call and subsequent forwarding of forms, there was a misunderstanding of what type of claim was being initiated. As soon as the error was brought to our attention, we apologized and sent the correct form. Mr. Wicklein’s claim is presently under review & adjudication should be forth coming shortly.
I appreciate your customer service representative who explained how travel protection works. This representative would have been the second one I spoke with as the first one seemed distracted and hurried and didn't answer my questions well.
I have not received a claims form in the mail yet. I did receive two emails from April. I did not see them until I had concluded my trip. Once I did, I emailed them the copies of the medical doctor's report which included medical codes. I called them on July 19, 2017 to confirm they received my emails with documentation. The representative is forwarding my emails to the claims department.
Contacting them was confusing. It didn't help that I was in a lot of pain. I initially tried the bolded outside the US phone number. During Two phone calls – the representatives didn't know how to handle my request. I then called the customer service/claims phone number which was not bolded.
I was able to get a claim number started – the representative was knowledgeable. Depending how quickly my claim is resolved will determine how I modify my rating.

Cannot comment on APRIL as we did not need it-that is the good news. Squaremouth website and person I talked with made procedure and decisions relatively easy. Will use site again.
