The claims process was relatively easy. My only problem was that delivery of my claims package to April was delayed because no one was available in the office to accept the delivery from Fed Ex. (Christmas holidays, but the office was supposed to be open/staffed.) It took three attempts to deliver and Fed Ex finally just left the package at the door. (Good thing I mailed it in advance of the deadline). Approximately 30 days after April's receipt of my claims forms, I received notice that the payment would be sent. Several days later, I received the check.
Our overall experience of using squaremouth to purchase travel insurance was five star and we would use it again.
I did call to clarify coverage in Cuba because medical providers in Cuba can't bill US insurance carriers.
Initial customer service was poor. One birth date was entered wrong, our name was spelled wrong. Major errors even though they were spoken back to me correctly.
Took a long time to receive revised (and corrected) documents.

The modifications related to her policy were received by our APRIL team the afternoon of 10/29 and, given the weekend in-between, new policy documents were issued within 72 business hours.
Seemed to take a long time but they did have currency exchange issues to contend with.
Everything was fine except for the fact that the airline lost my baggage and it was delayed more than 24 hours. Items were taken from my luggage. Which resulted in me having to make a claim. I have not heard back yet and I am beginning to get concerned about the claim. If you could assist it would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you
My attempt to reach April's 24 hour customer service on Christmas Day was a joke. Line dropped when CSR was on the line - after holding for about 5 minutes. I called back TWICE, was on hold about 15 minutes each time and then received a fast, busy signal before the line disconnected! NOT 24 hour service! We were stranded in Houston and had to handle EVERYTHING on our own. I even sent an email to them to make them aware of our upcoming claim. Never received a reply, so I called again a few days later to file our claim. We'll see how this goes!
