it was a lot of paperwork and thankfully i found most of my reciepts. I had a few meals I could not locate recipts for but I guess that is just my loss.
I received an automated reply that they received my claim and will be reviewing it. No further communication from them so far.
Working with Squaremouth was a good experience. The rep was helpful and ready to answer my extra questions any time. She totally reassured me of several concerns. I would recommend again.
Purchasing the insurance was straight-forward and price-competitive. However, when I upgraded my flight after originally purchasing the insurance, I wanted to update the insurance amount of my trip to reflect the new cost. I first called iTravelInsured, but was told I had to send an email. I sent an email and received no response. I sent a follow-up email and eventually got a quote back via email. The new quote was more than double the original quote, even though the total cost of the trip was less than double. I felt it should not have been so difficult to get the updated quote, and I do not understand why the additional insurance was so much higher.

Simple, easy and the best price
I purchased the policy when I made my first trip payment. This was almost a year before my expected departure date. A couple weeks before departure, I noticed that my actual departure date and return date were one day different from those that were covered by the policy. I called the customer service number, explained the situation and got it adjusted with no problem. I received a confirmation email within minutes.
They denied everything. Even doctors I found through their website. It was extremely difficult to try and determine what and who they would or wouldn't cover, and in the end, they covered nothing.
