IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
The claim settlement process is VERY VERY slow. I filed on a Cancel for any Reason policy over a month ago. I still do not have my refund.
It should not take this long to get less then $200.00 back. Very little communication about the status of the claim. They should be able to much better then this.

I sat a hold for 15 - 20 minutes each time I had to call ITravel Insured. They assured me my claim would be processed and paid within 20 days. That has not happened. It is now 26 days and they have not reviewed anything.
They make it extremely hard to file a claim. Not sure it is worth it in my case.
I contacted iTravel because I thought I might have to make a claim because of Hurricane Dorian. They were most helpful on how I should document and make my claim if I needed too. It all worked out and we returned home as planned with no flight interruptions.
Not being good using the computer, your representative walked me through setting up my insurance. I am extremely grateful. Thank you

I have one small medical bill to submit. The iTravellinsured claim forms says I must first submit to my other medical insurance company and then send the denial with my claim to iTravellinsured. I was surprised because Squaremouth website said the iTravellinsured coverage was "primary." I am awaiting a reply from my Medicare Supplement Insurance before making a claim with iTravellinsured.

The claims department said they were behind and it took several weeks to get the claim reviewed for payment. I got an email that since the claim was over $10,000 it needed to be reviewed by underwriting when the claim was for less than $200. The claim forms were long and difficult to complete and the space provided was sometimes too small for the information. After I sent the claim I was later asked to submit an additional form for electronic payment of the claim when this could have been done on the original claim form. Everything I needed to submit had to be done by paper and sent by US mail. I am a retired insurance claims manager and the experience did not meet my expectations.
After missing our luggage for several days I contacted the company to see what how long the luggage delay had to be to be able people to file a claim.
The customer service department representative emailed me the correct form as requested on the phone, though most of it was not applicable. Surprisingly she said that my policy didn’t cover what it clearly states that it does:100% cancellation for non refundable prepaid trip expenses if cancelling for work reasons (said it was 50%). I would not have purchased this policy if it didn’t cover that at 100%. She said the claims dept would deal with this. I DON’T like inconsistency like that.
