Initial claim filed late September 2018. Responded to their requests for payment and medical documentation.
After an initial non response they finally received the medical records 1/10/19.
I have escalated the request twice. Still no response.

I have filed a claim because I could not go on the cruise due to deterioration in my illness. I have been in contact with itravelinsured on at least 6 occasions to see what has been happening and I am told the claim went to their Carrier, US Fire. Insurance . I feel helpless and frustrated since its been almost 3 months since my filing and I am still waiting..
I had a post- travel concern. There was no wait to talk to a representative. Whose assistance quickly answered my questions.
I chose iTravel because of what it covered and the cost. I will definitely consider iTravel for my next trip.

The Claim is not settled as yet.
I purchased CFAR (cancel for any reason) coverage from iTravelInsured for a substantial premium above what the other coverages alone would have cost me, yet none of the invoices or paperwork I received prior to departure and when filing a claim mentioned that coverage. I was uneasy about that so I contacted customer service as soon as I received my declarations page and they assured me that I did, indeed, have CFAR coverage. When submitting my claim for CFAR, again no mention of CFAR on the form I was asked to use, so I wrote it in separately. I submitted my claim after struggling with Delta to get (never did get after 6-7 calls and one email request) what was asked of me in the claim form ("Statement from common carrier...indicating if any refund, reimbursement, credit, and/or voucher was issued.") I received an email confirmation that my claim and supporting documents had been received January 31 but I have heard no word since. I will withhold any possible referrals to iTravelInsured until I see how they process my claim.
