IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.

    I did it all online and required no additional service.

    During Trip
    There was no need for any customer service during our trip.

    Before Trip
    No specific comments about setting pre-trip insurance aside from noting the online process was úser friendly'- premium payment & policy confirmation promptly processed.

    During Trip
    Currently not in a position to publicly/privately make comment on the service and reliability of insurance carrier - a small claim is to be submitted and I will readily comment after processing of this. (1st claim in 14 prior o/seas trips)

    Claim Process
    am awaiting directions on how to lodge claim. Email request send - I will wait a further 7 days before approaching 'redress'from other sources.

    It took a few e Mails and phone calls to have the claim paid without submitting supplementary data. But they did 'listen' and they pid the contracted amount.

    Before Trip
    we placed a claim for delayed baggage on our arrival in the UK on April 26th, emailed all supporting documents and to date have received only the automated response to say received. I have called twice and been told someone will call me back, very un-impressed with the carier thus far

    Easy to fill out application, quick response time, gave me comfort on my travels knowing I had a plan in place for all the "what if's" referred you to others going on the trip who also bought.

    During Trip
    Thank God, I did not have to use your service during the trip.

    Very long phone wait times to speak with customer service. Not something you want when you've got a problem. Also, they didn't respond to my email when I asked about changing the policy. I think that was over three weeks ago and haven't got a response.
