IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
I know your rates are based partly in n age. My travel buddy is 4 years younger and her policy-the same as mine -is much cheaper even though her health is not as good as mine. I wish rates were more uniform within an age group.
However I look for coverage—mainly primary and evacuation if a major health event should occur. I find your offerings are more comprehensive in that regard than what is offered by the company with which I am traveling.

I got this policy because it covered illness with dogs. The person who sold me the policy seemed knowledgeable. Only after getting the policy did I read reviews that the insurance company did not do a good job with incoming claims. The worried me so much, but I had already bought the policy.

We had to cancel our trip and was told the premium wasn't refundable.
My most difficulty was uploading documents. You have to keep splitting them up into categories

Not impressed with IMG. I know I made an error but the same policy I had in June for $750 was $1263 in November. Yes it was two days longer trip but a $500 increase was absurd. Customer service was less than helpful. Will not buy from IMG again.
Additionally, in my June trip we contacted them for medical assistance around 8 am and were told we had to call back when someone could actually advise. Not really helpful.
So far, the process has been very easy.
When our return flight was cancelled and rescheduled, we had to make additional hotel plans. I did reach out to IMG to see if we needed to clear anything through you, but were told we should just make our own reservations and then submit. The agent did offer to make suggestions, but we did not need that, as we'd already found a place to stay.
All is well so far...just need to submit our claim for the delayed flight.

Our cruise on the Scenic Eclipse was canceled by the cruise company due to propulsion issues. As soon as we receive notice that the cruise was canceled, I contacted IMG global. I explained to them that the cruise company canceled the cruise. Although cancellation of the policy was beyond their cancellation deadline, that due to extenuating circumstances, I was requesting a refund of the $3722 fee. The company did not refund the fee. They did offer a credit of the amount that could be used within a year. This was unacceptable as we do not have any plans to travel during this period. It is hard for me to understand a company as large as IMGglobal was not more understanding. It is certainly not a company we consider working Norwood we recommend them to other travelers.
