I have filed a claim and followed up about it and have received only a confirmation email. It has been more than 3 months since my trip and I qualify for a partial or full refund based on what happened with my travel and the insurance I got.
They have not messaged me or anything and I have no idea where in the process it is or if my claim has been thrown out or what happened.
Im very upset and frustrated. Not only was my trip ruined because my flights were delayed so much I missed 2 connection and had to buy a bus ticket in mexico to my final location, but the insurance plan I purchased was apparently wasted money.
We were pleased with your company from beginning to end.

Although we have submitted our Claim No. (02745250) on 12/31/2025, we have received no response so far, other than this "rate your experience". Unfortunately, under such situation, we cannot evaluate high-rate to Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection.

We acknowledged based on the terms and condition, if the carry bag was damaged and purchase receipt is not existing, the maximum insurance coverage to be $150; however, we thought this guidance is not reasonable as not everyone is keeping his purchase receipt for long time.
The claim was easy to file and a decision was given in about 6 business days. I am satisfied with the ease of dealing with BHSI and the speed of handling my claim.
