I filed a claim in May. It was just paid Sept 22nd after months of asking for more inane information. Then to wait weeks in between to get a response. We purchased a plan with cancel because of travel companions canceling. I was asked to provide a birth certificate to prove I was related to my sister in law who needed to cancel due to a cancer diagnosis. I copied the policy stating coverage due to travel companion issue. Oops sorry rep says, another 4 week wait. I'm fine with providing information but your requests and wait time we're unacceptable.
We cancelled our trip due to my mother-in-law’s sudden illness and being life-flighted to a hospital in Omaha, NE.

Purchasing IMG insurance through Squaremouth was easy and affordable. Our flight to Europe was diverted to Newark so we missed the departure of our ship. The electronic claim process worked well and we were reimbursed within a month. We would use IMG again for future travel.

Your phone tree is quite complex as I was hung up on by the bot. I wanted a claim form and it was not easily assessible. Turns out that I did not need to file a claim.
The claim form was easy to complete online, and with the direct deposit payment option, the claim was settled for the full amount submitted, within five business days.
