IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Only compliant is that person on the phone (when the delay was happening) told me my blanket would be covered, but it wasn't. It didn't end up mattering because I hit my $150/day without it, but just as a heads up, blankets for cold airports don't count as an eligible expense. Otherwise, very happy with the claim experience.
Took quite a while to get the claim settled
As of now my experience has been very good. Since putting in a claim the person I spoke with was very helpful. They have already gotten back to me with what I had to send via email
All good & I booked another cruise so I need to call you & line up insurance for it!

I haven’t failed my claim yet Because I’m in the hospital recovering. I missed my flight from Memphis to Minneapolis on February 14. As yet, I do not have access to my insurance information to check my policy and see what it covers. as soon as I get a hold of my folder with the information in it, I will call square mouth and talk to customer service about filing a claim. After I fractured my ankle a week before our cruise, I contacted IMG and was provided with a list of items needed to submit with my claim. It took me a few days to gather the paperwork, but it was not terribly difficult. Several days later, I received a message saying my claim was being reviewed. It wasn't long before another message arrived saying I could expect a full reimbursement.
I was very pleased that the process progressed so quickly and smoothly. Less than a week later, the funds were deposited in our bank account. I've used Squaremouth to shop for three more upcoming cruises. You have a loyal customer. Thank you.
I have found IMG very slow in their service. I started the claim 11/17/25 and have submitted the last document (which they only requested very late in the process on 1/21/26 and it is still not settled. You never get to talk to the actual person who is handling your claim; only a front line person who repeats back only the information you have available on their claims website.
Needless today I have been very disappointed in their process and slow response time.
