IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
I never went on the trip. The policy was changed to April 28 trip. They were very nice to change the policy.
My issue is that I extended my trip by a week and tried to contact Itravelinsured and they just blew me off and said No extension. Thus, I had to buy another policy for a week to make sure I stayed within the requirements of the country I was visiting.
But that’s ok, as I wrote in my response to the email the company sent me declining the extension, I will never use IMG again. Point blank!

The return portion of my flight was delayed 48 hours due to a snowstorm. I called the iTravelInsured 24 hour assistance and the agent emailed a claim form and answered my questions on the spot. It was comforting to have the immediate response. I filed my claim yesterday and the case is still open so I can’t comment on an experience with the resolution.
Purchasing insurance through Squaremouth has always been easy and efficient.
In two cases, including this purchase, I needed to change some dates which was easy to do with the phone representative which I appreciated.
I have never had to file any claims, so am unable to comment on service under such circumstances.
However based on customer service so far, I am betting that their service under those situations would be a good experience also.
The contract i signed is not playing out to help us. It is set up not to pay

What we need is coverage to refund our lost vacation. We were there bit couldnt do what we were there for due to misding sports gear missing walkinh hiking shoes missing swim gear. Modding binoculars

I have been trying to get someone to send me forms or directives HOW to file a claim
Spoke to 3 different agents who indicated they would e mail me...NOTHING!
Called again...was told I would receive a call back....NOTHING!!!!!

So far, my experience is negative. I have gone to a lot of effort and work to supply ALL the documents requested for the claim and the claim department contacted me asking me for the same thing over again plus information completely irrelevant to the claim. It seems like a ploy to avoid claim settlement. I don't like that. Either pay the claim or deny it and quit playing games!
Very professional. Prices were better than those offered by cruise line. I will use them again.
Due to Covid related cancellations of our cruise, we had to change the effective dates if our trip at least twice. The insurer was very accommodating in changing the effective dates. Changes were done totally by email.
My travel plans changed and I was quickly reimbursed for the fact that My trip was not going to be as elaborate as initially planned.
