IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
I do not recommend iTravelinsured. I tried to increase my coverage before the trip through the company's website. It does not permit online increases. Instead, the website provided a phone number to call. I called that number repeatedly. No one answered, but I could leave a message. No one responded to the messages. Finally I called the claims department. I was told that the number on the website had never been functional. No one ever would have returned my call. The claims department gave me a new phone number. I was able to increase the coverage using that number. I discovered that while iTravel's initial charge for my first level of insurance was cost competitive, that the cost of the increased coverage was not. If I had used Tin Leg I would have saved money overall even thought the initial charge at iTravel was lower.
Fortunately, remained healthy and active! Will use your insurance again the next time I travel!

We have had no travel issues that have come to light during or since our trip. It was reassuring to know we were covered. The purchase process was easy and the policy coverage was good.

1 When I went to the clinic for an XRay, I had to pay upfront because the IMG phone number was not responsive when the care provider tried to call them
2 I made the claim. They say that the claim will be treated 40 working days from the day the claim was made. It was not. When I contacted them to find out what was happening, they said they TRY to treat the claim within 30 days but they don't have to. In the end, my claim was processed, but it took nearly 4 months
