IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
I requested a list of hospitals to go to once in Lisbon who partnered with IMGlobal. I selected three or four, and the fourth on the list was the first whose information was somewhat correct and accessible. I went to them and they admitted and treated me.
Major trouble in filing a claim.
1. Submitted by FAX but no one know where is my claim
2. Try to submitted the claim on line and the online system was down for a couple of days. It was very difficult and will not accept my photo . Therefore filing was unsuccessful.
3. I finally scan in all my documentations and claim form and submitted in a email.
All of the above effort took one week. When I tried to figure if my claim was received. No idea!!!
IMG is a scam company and no one should buy their insurance. I sustained an injury two weeks prior to my trip that forced me to cancel the trip. I have had surgery and am still recovering and yet they are still dragging their feet on my claim and seem unlikely to reimburse my trip costs. They owe me $20,000. Please stop recommending IMG on your site.

IMG eventually paid my claim but it took 2.5 months of them dragging their feet and requesting unrelated paperwork. Delay, delay, delay is their philosophy. I will not use them again.
I have completed the online request to file a claim. I am concerned about poor communication regarding the claim, and uncertainty about how the claim will be processed.
Very easy to buy. Did not have a claim so don’t know if you are good at paying claims but maybe I will never need to know. Will use you again in future
The purchase of travel insurance through Square Mouth was easy and convenient. Fortunately did we not have to use it, but it was good to know we had coverage if we needed it.

We had to cancel our trip before we left due to my husband's medical issues. I filed a claim at the end of May. The process has been ridiculous:
1. The IMG website is problematic. When I went to submit the claim after adding documents the first or second time, it would not allow me to submit. I called the company and was advised to add "just any screenshot" to each of the place that required a document, in order to submit and it worked. It has caused a lot of confusion, though I've explained it many times. Also, When adding documents at a later date, I may have misunderstood and hit submit ( I still don't know) and a 2nd claim for created.
2. When, I mistakenly filed a second claim and called for assistance to fix it, I was assured it wasn't a problem, then I was assured they would take care of it. Then, two weeks later I called, and explained AGAIN, and they promised to "Escalate" the claim. That was last Monday. I called today, Saturday, and asked about the status as I haven't heard from them. They said wait till Monday. This is SO FRUSTRATING.
3. I forwarded some pertinent emails and never received a "receipt" - When asking about it on the phone, they could not find them. I suspect they may be sitting in the 2nd claim.
If there is any way you can assist in expediting my claim, it would be greatly appreciated.
We have used Squaremouth before and was happy with our experience. This experience with IMG is not a good one and I wouldn't use it again. Communication, along with a lack of efficiency in a timely manner is a problem.

This was the first time we purchased travel insurance. We were glad we did since a family emergency came up less than 10 days before our trip bringing into question whether we could do the trip. I had some questions before hand that a customer service person was able to address quickly. The cost for the insurance for the two of us was well below that of what the cruise line wanted to charge us for insurance.
