Unfortunately I filed a claim after my families passports where stolen along with cash and personal possessions. I am still waiting for my claim to be settled currently but feel confident in the process after the reviews I read from previous customers.
Our claim was filed with the required documentation over a month ago. I was informed at that time the claim would be processed within three weeks. From the questionnaire above I am led to believe it will be another 4 weeks. This is unacceptable. Our paperwork was complete, and this should not be that difficult to process. I sent the claim via the email listed on the site, I never heard back, so I sent it to the other email addresses the phone agent told me to, and I still never heard back.
Finally I had to email the claim directly to a rep on the phone who submitted it myself.
I recommend a better way to initiate online claims so that they are handled properly. once the claim was finally received though the process was perfect and handled in a few days.
After I submitted claim I did not get any acknowledgment from insurance company that my claim was received. After calling them 6-7 times and after about 2 month I was issued a check for 1/2 of the price. I had to call them back to find out why full amount was not received. I already called 3-4 times and didn't get a response. I will never buy Tin Leg travel insurance again.

Took too long to process a simple claim when all requested
documentation was provided at first submission. When Tin Leg was contacted I was given 3 different reasons for the delay depending on who I spoke to.
I did not completely understand the policy limits vis a vis reimbursement of airline ticket costs and those could be explained better.
We had to cancel our trip because of my wife's illness and we filed a claim for which we received insufficient reimbursement of covered expenses; we are appealing the claim now and that is why it is not yet complete. I have been in touch today with Brandy Morse who is helping sort out the issue of insufficient reimbursement as it relates to your Zero Complaint Guarantee(one of the main reasons we used Tin Leg to begin with!)
