Very easily and quickly had birthdate for my husband corrected that I had entered incorrectly . Person answered with in 3 rings and it was fixed in less than a minute. Glad we did not need to make a claim, but hope the service would have been as good
I did not have a claim which I believe is when a person can rate the travel insurance provider. I do find it odd that when travel internationally there is not a toll-free number to call.
The claim was for trip interruption due to the death of a parent. The claim was handled in a timely manner and we appreciate the weekly updates on it's progress. There were 2 charges we submitted for reimbursement, one for an upgraded accommodation and another for Uber fares which Tinleg declined reimbursement even though there were plenty of funds in the policy we purchased to cover those expenses. We did receive the travel reimbursement 1 month after filing the claim. We feel it was timely service. We will be purchasing Tinleg Gold insurance for future travel.
Every policy I purchase through Square Mouth, including this policy, provides more coverage for less money than the policies offered through cruise lines and land based travel companies. Fortunately I did not have to use this policy, but having it gave me peace of mind during my travels.
