    Very easy to work with online. I called once to ask for a copy of the policy because I had placed mine. I spoke to professional and friendly and sent me a copy immediately.

    Unfortunately not happy with my experience. Our trip was involuntarily postponed due to the hurricane and I was not able to change my dates of coverage. We were forced to purchase a new policy.

    Tin Leg policy: Basic

    I had unexpected issue with my emergency passport when boarding the flight so had to delay my flight. When I called TinLeg to find out my coverage in case I could not make the trip. Their responses were not flexible nor helpful. Luckily, I was able to make the trip.

According to the policy, coverage for passport issues is applicable only if the passport is lost or stolen. Additionally, the policy documents state that travelers are responsible for meeting all requirements for travel, including acquiring all necessary passports.

    The purchase process went smoothly but we somehow missed the option to purchase insurance which would have totally covered our expensive bicycles. One of our bikes arrived with serious damage. We have contacted Tin Leg about this issue but have not yet formally submitted a claim as we were waiting to learn if the bike could be repaired. We have since learned that it can be repaired and have a quote for that repair. We also had the additional expense of a bike rental in order to participate in our planned trip and we needed to obtain an invoice for that before submitting our claim.
