Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip due to my unexpected back surgery. Although the amount of documentation to be submitted is voluminous when cancelling a long trip that involves tours, hotels and flights, Travel Insured International reimbursed us for our entire claim. Additional documentation was requested from my medical providers as the company did due diligence before paying the claim, as was explained by the knowledgable, customer friendly claims reviewer. During the process I learned the importance of the ‘time sensitive period’ for purchasing that all travel insurance companies include in their policies. It’s important to read the fine print! At the end of the day, we were very pleased with Travel Insured International.

This company has asked us to provide information & documentation which we already have provided. The company is now asking for documentation from the airline which will be virtually impossible to obtain. Some of the details of not being able to rebook our canceled flight for over 48 hours do not exist in documents as rebooking was done by telephone. Any assistance Squaremouth can provide would be appreciated.

As a first time travel insurance buyer, the process of getting Travel Insurance was very easy and detailed explanations provided in every single step. I was able to upgrade in certain areas, as per my needs. I called the customer service department before departing to obtain a summary of my policy, and they promptly responded and provide me the supporting documentation. In addition, the price was less when comparing the same coverage with other companies. I will definitely consider them the next time I need to purchase a travel insurance.

I am disappointed. I let them know I had vertigo on my last day and could not do our intended bike tour. I went to the commissary on board and the nurse said they were not open till 6 pm. My vertigo lasted from 0700-1300. So no need to see a doctor then. The claim process said I needed a doctors evaluation and I could not self diagnose even though I am a nurse and have had vertigo before. I am not happy.

Very good experience, I will probably use them again.

As usual, my experience with the Squaremouth agents was spectacular. The were able to answer the many questions that I had as part of the pre-booking process. Every person with whom I have dealt at Squaremouth (and there have been many because I have done business with them for may years) has been great -- knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

My contact with Travel Insured also was great, though more limited. It involved a pre-booking phone call to confirm that I did not have to insure all my prepaid costs that were either nonrefundable or subject to conditions. The customer service person with whom I spoke was able to answer my question quickly and efficiently. The second call was to increase my coverage from the amount I had insured to cover the deposit to cover the full cruise price after I paid the deposit.. Again, the customer service was very helpful.

Travel Insured International guided us accurately and completely through the claim process. We were able to complete the claim
process in a very reasonable time. The Agents we communicated with were friendly and very helpful. Gloria and Jessica were
particularly helpful guiding us thru the process.
