nice job
Filing a claim was not as easy online as expected. I needed to contact the insurance company to get more info regarding my claim. I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours before speaking to someone. This makes me worry that filing a claim will be difficult and result in no reimbursement. Hoping this won’t be the case.
I have questions that I need answers to in order to continue with my claim. I’ve submitted this question via email no one has gotten back to me. It’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. I’m very frustrated.
They completed my claim exactly as it should have been…it was an easy process and was my first travel claim ever! I have bought policies from them for other travels and have never had a reason to file a claim. This one trip was a nightmare, and they made the process easy and as stress free as possible. Thank you!
Everything went smoothly until my arrival back to LAX when a gate checked bag did not arrive. I immediately filed a report with a person at the baggage carousel area and called right away. Things were going smoothly with messaging but have not heard anything for a little while. I have a feeling my bag is at the Singapore airport and have not been able to get assistance. Here is my information that I filed within the first 24 hours.
Bali to Singapore Flight #TR 285 seat 20F
Depart Bali at 1430 Arived Singapore 1715
Boarding Time 1345
Singapore to Los Angeles Flight # SQ 38 Seat 47H
Depart Singapore 2045
Arrive LAX 2140
Lost Bag tag # 0001526412
contents:
Maroon rolling carry on bag. 2 front zippers with a blue Patagonia top in front zipper.~ contents would have a Trader Joe's bag filled with dried coral and black lava stones. There are a variety of sarongs with 2 mushroom wood carvings, a Bali Mermaid batik holding a bowl of food, black athleta pants, striped yellow/blue Prana dress, orange and white dress, white eyelet blouse, a green bag with underwear and a variety of other clothing.
Is there someone or a webpage for the Singapore Airport to check there lost luggage?
Thus far my experiences with customer support for my claim have been mixed. The first person was dismissive and deliberately distorted the terms of my claims. It's almost as if she was dissuading me from filing the claim in the first place. The second person whom I spoke with about a week later was very helpful. I'm still awaiting the outcome.
After a flight cancellation, I submitted a claim to cover an additional night in a hotel and expenses. The filing process was relatively easy (though I was careful to include documents for everything I could think of), and I was reimbursed quickly, within two weeks.
Great customer service. Fair price.
So far my interaction with Travel Insured International has been positive. I sent in all of my documentation for a travel delay, so we’ll see what we get back.
Squaremouth customer service & online features made it so easy to choose what I needed to insure & to narrow it down to one company. I will use squaremouth for any other trips I take.
