Easy to sign up and no surprises. Provided more coverage than I originally intended to purchase, but turned out to be for the best - included areas I didn't think were insurable or needed. And I needed it!

We needed to adjust our dates after purchase and it was not difficult

I had good service reps. I actually had to back my dates of coverage up due to flight changes and they made it easy. Definitely will use the next time we travel!

Submitted my claim with all documentation on December 23rd. Some of the documents had been sent prior to this and had to be sent a second time because they claimed not to have received them. There have been delays because of the holidays which I understand, and I was supposed to receive notification that my claim was being finalized by an analyst by January 26th. All these delays again because of another Public Holiday. I am still awaiting my refund, but what is obvious is that this company does not have sufficient analysts to process claims. This is a company I will advise others to not use.

So far it’s been good. I submitted my 39 page claim via regular mail and it was received on 1/14/26. I had it sent certified mail. At this time I have not had any further contact. Their website does note the receipt of the claim.

I not only use Squaremouth for many years but have convinced many of my fellow cruisers to use them in place of the one offered by the cruise line which doesn't cover a lot of things that need to be. I will never switch from Squaremouth. I am a very loyal customer and happy with them.

Currently struggling with sending in claim documents...my inadequacies. Will probably end up coping and mailing them (snail mail) as my computer abilities are basic and my IT support (Husband) has just had spinal surgery due to the fall in Vietnam.....
The local representative in vietnam was able to successfully secure transportation (speedboat) from our small boat in Halong Bay to the pier and a taxi to Hanoi French Hospital (90 minutes away). Although I never spoke with him, he was able to arrange with the boat's crew to make the transfer seamless.

Purchase of policy was very easy and cost reasonable for planned trip. Had to cancel the trip at the last minute due to illness of my traveling partner. Filed a claim and Travel Insured responded immediately with claim instructions. They kept in touch and received the claim documents. Waiting for them top process the claim. So far, service is very satisfactory.
