I filed a claim because o had to change hotels for my 2-6-26 trip because the room had a loud paint smell and the hotel refused to swap my room and demanded I leave the property because I complained. I was supposed to have 7 days of free parking for my cruise . I had to get another hotel and pay additional cost for parking I’m awaiting a reply from travel insured which is a slow process so far.
I was hospital over night at tokyo I try to contact you but phone is busy I can not touch you
- To many conditions in the contract that are confusing and some conflicting.
- Very hard to reach TII from international location. Support agents were marginally helpful but provided no direction about coverage or process while getting medical and dental treatment that were urgently needed during the trip.
- Submitted claim was a horrible process. Even when we submitted all the paperwork, we keep gting emails to submit the same paperwork. It appears that your company simply wants to make it very hard for customers to file claims which is very sad.

While it took 3 weeks, the claim was satisfactorily processed. Support by phone and email has been excellent. We used this insurance company for the first time and will be sure to use it again. Great customer service, pricing, coverage and authentic support.
This site is truly a good-send. It's such a valuable service, to provide clear information on comparing such important travel insurance. Every traveler should book their insurance on this site
We purchased travel insurance for my husband & myself.
We filed a claim before our travel date on January 29, 2026 since we were unable to fly.
We received confirmation of our claim from Travel Insured International on February 4, 2026.
We are still waiting a response from Travel International. We are approaching March and still no response.
Today, nearly 9 weeks after starting the claims process, I finally got back all the money that was owed to me from Travel Insured International. This entire experience was awful and I will never use this company again. Further, I will be letting my listeners and readers of my travel podcast and blog know just how bad this company was to work with. The main problems were the slowness and complete ghosting by my claims rep. Several times I either left her a message and asked for a call back or an email update, and she just completely ignored me. Not for a day or two, just forever. Other times I was told she'd "call me back within the hour" and she didn't. So I called her after an hour and a half and I had to twist her arm to even get a partial apology out of her. She was awful. Also, the time between submitting my forms and hearing ANYTHING back from the company was weeks and weeks. Radio silence. Rotten company. I would give zero stars if I could. Toward the end of this nightmare it really felt like they were holding my money hostage. It was over $7000 and frankly, if they do this to all their clients, that's a lot of money they're earning interest on while the customer just sits there, helpless, having their complaints and inquiries completely ignored.
I submitted a claim on Jan 23 and am waiting for a status update and payment. Why would you send a survey before resolving my claim?
The process of purchasing the policy was very easy with the information I saw on the internet and one phone call. We have used Squaremouth before, so it was a familiar process.
I recently filed a claim. I can give you more feedback when I see how quickly Travel Insured responds to the claim.
I missed two days of Antarctic trip
