It offered the extra medical and evac coverage I was looking for at a reasonable price. This is the third trip I've taken where I've compared Travel International to several other policies, and Travel International always wins out.

Easy to compare plans and we could get the coverage we wanted. Affordable for decent coverage.

My trip was extended for 7 days. When I tried to extend my travel insurance I was told it was not possible. Later I called back and was told that there was a 7 day extension on the policy for delays, but I was uncertain if I was really covered. My travel agent advised me that it was common to allow purchase of an extension of travel insurance. I will not be buying travel insurance from this company again.

The claim is slow. They show no progress on my claim for 4 weeks. I think is a shoty company

I believe that the price was fair for the insurance we were offered. It made me feel good to know we had all of the coverage. I had questions about the non medical evacuation amount that I could not see at first on my policy, but when I inquired, I received a very timely response and the help that I needed.

The very helpful telephone staff at Squaremouth patiently answered every question, sometimes more than once. This helped me to choose the correct policy for my needs. I was confident that I would receive the assistance I needed if it became necessary to make a claim.

I particularly liked the fact that I could pay for just the portion I had already purchased, and could then add to the policy as I added airfare and other parts.

Unless you are a frequent traveler, purchasing this sort of insurance can be a real chore....trying to understand what and how the coverage works and pertains to your specific travel, including limitations, can be daunting. While you may assume it means one thing, you really need to take a hard look or still better, talk to a live Squaremouth rep. Note, however, some reps are better than others. One I spoke to was simply answering my questions, but being a novice and not knowing questions to ask or how features may pertain to me, I was not getting far. I wanted examples. However, in my next phone call, the person was excellent and presented scenarios, which helped tremendously. She was possibly older, more experienced and could see what I was struggling with and hit right on with sensible responses. I would have given my experience with Squaremouth reps a 4.5 if it was available.. The website, ONCE ONE UNDERSTANDS HOW TO USE IT, including the terminologies in conjunction with one's specific travel is ultimately very good, and I would use it again.

Buying a policy is very easy. It is done in a minute and money out of your credit card cleared immediately.

Filing a claim and getting paid is very time consuming. Sent paperworks on June 12, 2015 and so far responded that they received the claim. Gave me website address to check the progress but unfortunately for last few days no progress being made. All it says claim has been received.

I guess just have to wait if and whenTravelinsured decide to pay me.
