I really can't offer meaningful commentary about the carrier. I depend on Josh Walker at Square Mouth for advice about travel insurance and for arranging details with the carrier. The service I have received from Mr. Walker has always been excellent.

I haven't heard from the insurer yet about its final decision. On 5-15-12, the insurer asked for information about airline refunds. I responded by email on 5-26-12. The email was read 5-27-12. I am only claiming $200 now for airfare because AA gave us vouchers, so we need LAN reimbursement of $200. Total we are seeking is $21,251.
