There was a typo in my policy dates...noted as 9-8 to 9-11. I notified Travel Insured the day before the trip and they corrected the end date to 9-18 with no issues or problems. I appreciated this.

The policy was clear and understandable. The policy had all the options I was looking for at a competitive price. When comparing the key option taht many didn't have was car insurance. This was a good option to have as sometime the insurance for the car rental company can be expensive.

I had connection issues due to weather during my trip and the insurance carrier customer service person was very helpful and said they would send the appropriate claim form. They did not give me the full story however. If they had told me when I called them that I needed a written statement from the airline for the reason for the delay, i could have tried to obtain it while I waited 3 hours in the airport for my flight instead of after I returned home when it was so much harder to obtain.

I feel as if I am having to jump through hoops to get my claim. I can't even file the claim until I have proof of payment for my extra flight and my hotel stay. They want my credit card statement which won't arrive until the middle of September. It's pretty annoying that I can't just submit the receipts from the hotel and the e-mail from the airline stating the extra cost for changing my flight.

Although I am still waiting for my claim to be settled, I am satisfied with the service.
