I was in communication with TII just before the trip due to weather circumstances and medical circumstances. I was able to reach them and disucss my situation.

My claim was based on not being able to get a flight out of Dulles due to the February blizzard and an unfortunate medical situation which I had a doctor's recommendation not to travel due to a back problem. I had documentation for both and was on the phone with both the doctor on the day of travel and TII and the travel agent (Delta Air). I was getting a run around by TII after the claim for more than two months and only settled after many e-mails and phone calls. They apologized at the very end, but the process was very stressing and shocking. It is the first time that I had to make a claim and I paid nearly $1000 for the insurance. A very poor experience. My contact with Squaremouth was very supportive and an agent for Squaremouth had me put him on e-mails as a bcc. I felt support from them and will go through Squaremouth next trip.
