I was so satisfied with the ease of comparison, the sense of security that I had selected a reputable travel insurance carrier and the good pricing that I recommended the site to a friend. I will also use it to book my next trip.

The carrier did not notify me that it wanted more documentation until I initiated contact to enquire about the inaction. Then the processor kept asking for new forms of documentation I had already supplied. I kept complying. The company never completed processing the claim.

Having insured our trip was for peace of mind. If any of the covered problems had occurred, we would have filed a claim. Thankfully nothing put a pleasurable river cruise trip. If weather would have been covered, we definitely would have a claim.

I had to contact the carrier just prior to departure in order to alter coverage dates. I got thru to the customer service department immediately and a very efficient individual took the information and quickly sent an updated coverage document with the changes corrected.

Thankfully, never had to contact the carrier as there were no insurance related questions or problems.

Having just the right policy for me, thanks to my "agent", meant I could relax and not worry about anything during my trip to Africa!
I plan to use "Squaremouth" again in May for my next long distance trip.
